2011 – 2nd Quarter Update

An amazing 2011 continues – we’ve been so busy this news update kinda fell through the cracks, but here it is – highlights of what we’ve been doing for the last three months…

While Maroon 5 has enjoyed great success with the singles from ‘Hands All Over‘, their latest single, ‘Moves Like Jagger‘, which features Christina Aguilera, has been explosive! Less than 24 hours after release, it was #1 on the iTunes singles charts and it is curently tearing up the radio charts. Congratulations to Benny Blanco (producer) and Serban Ghenea (mixer) for crafting such a massive hit!

2011 – 1st Quarter Update

As mentioned in our last update, 2011 is truly off to an incredible start here at Euphonic Masters – so without further delay, here’s what we’ve been up to…

Euphonic was chosen to master the new Alison Krauss and Union Station album, ‘Paper Airplane‘ (iTunes link – available April 4th) for Rounder Records. This album was produced by Union Station and recorded and mixed by the talented Mike Shipley – be sure to check it out!

2010 – 4th Quarter Update

What an amazing year we had at Euphonic Masters in 2010! While 2011 is off to an incredible start, we wanted to pause to share some of the exciting projects we’ve been privileged to work on over the last few months

Virgin / Capitol recording artists Sick Puppies sent Euphonic their new live album for a final bit of polish. Mixed by David J Holman, this new record features tracks such as ‘Maybe‘, ‘Odd One‘, ‘Riptide‘ and ‘My World‘, among others, and is sure to be a fan favorite. Brad was also asked to cut the new North Mississippi Allstars album, ‘Keys To The Kingdom‘, mixed by the amazing Kevin Houston. Releasing on Feb. 1, this record will be available as both CD and vinyl – check it out, it’s the closest thing to seeing them live

2010 – 3rd Quarter Update

Time has flown by – seems like we just updated this yesterday! It’s been another amazing quarter here at Euphonic, so let’s get right to the news…

Virgin Records’ Saving Abel sent their new single, ‘The Sex Is Good’, to Brad to put the final polish on it for radio – it’s currently doing very well, sitting at #12 on the Active Rock charts. This follows  their first single, ‘Stupid Girl (Only in Hollywood)’, which was a Top10 hit- congrats to the band and all involved for their continued success! Speaking of the charts, we also want to congratulate A&M/Octone records on the success of Maroon 5‘s latest effort, ‘Hands All Over’ – the album debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top200 while the first single, ‘Misery’, is currently in its third week at #1 on the HotAC chart!

2010 – 2nd Quarter Update

Some really exciting things have been happening at Euphonic Masters this quarter!

Brad was chosen to master Maroon 5′s new album, ‘Hands All Over’, produced by the legendary Mutt Lange, mixed by renowned mixer Mike Shipley and released on A&M/Octone Records. The album, due for full release on Sept. 21st, has already spawned its first hit single, ‘Misery’ (currently charting at #3 (HotAC) and #10 (Mainstream Top40) (at time of writing). We’re very pleased with how the production turned out and think you will enjoy this one very much - give it a listen!

2010 – 1st Quarter Update

2010 has started off with a bang! Saving Abel has kept us busy so far, having Brad master their new album (titled ‘Miss America‘) for Virgin Records, set to release on June 8th. The first single ‘Stupid Girl (Only In Hollywood)‘ is doing well on the charts and we’re excited to have been part of this project, which was produced and mixed by Skidd Mills. Euphonic was also chosen to master the new Saving Abel live USO show, soon to be released on CD and DVDPrimary Wave chose Brad to master Taddy Porter’s debut effort, featuring the amazing singleShake Me‘ – these guys are awesome!

2009 – 4th Quarter Update

The fourth quarter of 2009 was fantastic here at Euphonic – a superb ending to a great year! Brad was chosen to master the new Vicky Beeching album for Integrity Records. This record was produced by Jonathan Macintosh and mixed by the amazing Sam Gibson – check it out! Jonathan also had Euphonic master Sarah Macintosh’s new Christmas album, which was a real treat to work on! SkiddCo Music has kept Euphonic busy as well, sending over Saving Abel’s first single off the upcoming follow-up to their hit debut record on Virgin Records, produced, engineered and mixed by Skidd Mills. SkiddCo also had Brad master the new Tetanus album, which was recently signed to Bieler Brothers Records. This album was also produced, engineered, and mixed by Skidd Mills (what can we say, he’s awesome).

Fall weather is here and it’s time for another news update regarding what’s been happening at Euphonic Masters! Interscope Records’ Black Eyed Peas once again hired Brad to master a new single / EP release, this time for the ‘Invasion of I Gotta Feeling EP’ (iTunes store link here) – if you love the BEP you’ll want to add this one to your collection! Universal Music R&B star Jully Black once again sent her new album, titled ‘Black Book’, to Euphonic for mastering. This album was produced by Young Pete and mixed by the amazing Phil Tan. The first single, ‘Running’ is already charting, check it out!
